THA Chief Secretary Orville London has admitted to an error he made in saying that Tobago West MP Dr Delmon Baker had received $800,000 from the Tobago House of Assembly to finance his medical studies.

London said the Tobago Development Minister had in fact received $133,000 for his studies at the UWI Medical School, St Augustine. The Chief Secretary further explained that the $800,000 was for financial assistance to students who attended the St George’s University in Grenada at that time and made it clear that Baker did not attend that institution.
