Grandmother and Eight Grandchildren Have New Home

On Sunday (September 17th), Chief Secretary Hon. Farley Augustine handed over a house to grandmother, Lydia Robinson, through the Tobago House of Assembly and the Settlements Division.

The home project was also done in partnership with the Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries, who contributed resources. In addition, representatives from the Unemployment Relief Programme assisted with the renovations. Ms. Robinson was left to take care of her eight grandchildren, following the death of their mother (Lydia’s daughter).

The home was provided to the family following the renovation of a government-owned property.
