Reigning Miss World 2010 pays courtesy call on Chief Secretary

Reigning Miss World 2010 American-born Alexandria Mills and her entourage paid a courtesy call on Chief Secretary Orville London at his Calder Hall Office this morning (Tuesday, 22nd February 2011). She was accompanied by first runner-up Miss World (Africa) Emma Wareus of Botswana, Trinidad and Tobago Miss World representative at the 2010 pageant Davia Chambers and Julia Morley, co-chair of the pageant.

In welcoming the entourage Chief Secretary Orville London said he appreciated the fact that they were here in Tobago and he hopes that the ensuing discussions will be fruitful and positive.

Julia Morely, speaking on behalf of the team, remarked that based on future talks, we would be able to invite 120 nations to witness and enjoy Tobago’s charm. She added “We do love Tobago; I do from many years of being here. I think at the moment that it’s one of the world’s best kept secrets”.
