A stakeholders meeting was held on Wednesday (April 5, 2017) at the Mt. Irvine Bay Resort to discuss the impending departure of the Super Fast Galicia cargo ferry from the inter-island route, and to provide a forum for stakeholders, including the business community to provide suggestions and receive feedback. Chief Secretary Kelvin Charles and Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan attended the meeting, along with other representatives from the Tobago House of the Assembly and the Ministry of Works and Transport, THA Minority Leader Watson Duke, and representatives of the Tobago Division of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
