The Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment (DIQE) hosted a stakeholders meeting on “Green Alternatives for Food Packaging” at the Division’s Lecture Room, Shaw Park on Thursday (April 7). Guests viewed presentations on a range “green” food packaging options, as well as samples of packaging, and also had the chance to ask questions and provide feedback. This comes following a Tobago House of Assembly decision to phase out the use of Styrofoam (polystyrene).
