Hosts Canaan/Bon Accord emerged Under-19 cricket champs on Sunday (August 19) in the THA District Games 2018.
They beat Speyside/Charlotteville by three wickets with a successful chase of their target of 92 runs. The Under-15 champions were Scarborough, which beat Goodwood/Glamorgan in the final.
Signal Hill swept the netball competition, whipping Goodwood 29-4 (Under-18) and beating Plymouth 40-7 (Under-14). And in football, Bethel/Mt. Gomery/Sou Sou Lands beat Canaan/Bon Accord 1-0 (Under-18) and Speyside/Charlotteville edged Plymouth/Black Rock/Whim 21 (Under-14).
At the end of the competition, Administrator of the Division of Sports and Youth Affairs Cherry Ann Edwards-Louis thanked the teams, coaches and communities for their support.
