The Re-commissioning Ceremony for the Tobago Rehabilitation and Empowerment Centre (TREC) was held earlier today (February 28).

The Centre was upgraded to continue the provision of rehabilitation and empowerment services to drug users, addicts and their families.

It will provide programmes to help persons combat drug use and addiction. The treatment and rehabilitation of substance abusers at the Centre allow them to mend their lives.

The Tobago Rehabilitation and Empowerment Centre is located at Fort King George, Scarborough.
