Archbishop of Port of Spain Joseph Harris has pledged the support of the Roman Catholic Church in projects undertaken by the Tobago House of Assembly (THA).
He met with Chief Secretary Orville London on Tuesday (March 11 2014) at the Calder Hall Administrative Complex, Scarborough when they discussed “matters of mutual interest”.
The two also discussed education which he described as significantly important to the Catholic Church in Tobago.
Archbishop Harris who was accompanied by Father Stephen Duncan, Episcopal Vicar of the Tobago Vicariate will be officiating at services the St Vincent de Paul Home for the Aged in Mason Hall and and St Joseph RC in Scarborough before returning to Trinidad on Friday. He visited the Delaford RC Primary School where he interacted with the pupils and teachers on Monday.
