The YMCA Tobago, in collaboration with the Sport in Education Unit of the Division of Education, Innovation and Energy, held its first annual Development Swim Gala at the YMCA facility in Courland (June 2, 2017). The event highlighted the progress of swimmers from 12 primary schools and six secondary schools. It was part of the School Learn to Swim Programme, and endorses the development of swimming on the island.
