Traffic Changes for Remembrance Day

Tobago will honour its veterans who served during World Wars I and II on Remembrance Day, which is scheduled for Sunday, November 13 at James Park Burnett Street, Scarborough.

Cannons will be fired for Remembrance Day Parade between the hours of 10:40 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Due to the event, the public car park at Piggott Street (Old Market Square Car Park) will be closed to the public on Friday November 11 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, and on the day of the Parade from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Parking will be available at the public car park at Garden Side Street.

There will also be changes to the traffic on both days. Commuters heading into Uptown Scarborough are asked to use Castries Street and head to the Main Street/Bacolet Street intersection. Traffic coming from Rockley Vale to Piggott Street in the vicinity of Tambrin Square must proceed along Robinson Street.

The public is asked to adhere to the instructions from police officers on those days.
