Dragon boat team the Division of Tourism, Culture and Transportation rows to a third place finish.

The Tobago House of Assembly (THA), in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Dragon Boat  Federation, hosted the 2017 Dragon Boat Festival. The festival’s seventh annual edition was held at one of the island’s most popular beaches, Pigeon Point Heritage Park, from June 17 to 18th.

Racing was held in several categories, including the Tobago teams, mixed juniors, and senior female teams. The festival also included fun activities.

The Oceanus dragon boat team placed first in the Tobago Senior category, while Aquaforce was second and the Division of Tourism, Culture and Transportation (DOTCT) dragon boat team finished third.
