Vendors and cooks participating in the Tobago Blue Food Festival 2019 were engaged in an informative and interactive session, led by George Leacock, Festivals Director of the Tobago Festivals Commission. The forum was held on September 5th at the Parlatuvier Multipurpose Facility.
Persons were updated on food preparation standards by facilitators Dr. Roxanne Mitchell and Allison Rambaran-Andrews of the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA).
The annual culinary festival focuses on the commonly used ground provision, dasheen. It will be held on October 19th and 20th.
