Spiritual Baptist Liberation Day
Spiritual Baptist Liberation Day was celebrated on Wednesday (March 30, 2022) and was officially proclaimed a holiday in 1996. The holiday is celebrated in recognition of the repeal on March 30, 1951 of the prohibition law that prevented the activities of the Spiritual Baptists. THA officials, including Chief Secretary-Tobago, Hon. Farley Augustine, visited the Mt.Bethel Spiritual Baptist Church in Pump Mill on the occasion.

Tobago scholarship winner honoured
Daniel Wilson, a former student of Bishop’s High School, was among the 100 national scholarship winners in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination for 2020/2021 awarded by the Ministry of Education earlier this month.
