Highway Project Continues

Secretary of the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and the Environment Kwesi Des Vignes said final works are being carried out on Phase I of repairs along the Claude Noel Highway.

“I must say kudos to the project team for executing what has so far been a remarkable piece of work on the rehabilitation segment of the highway from the Orange Hill to Rockley Vale traffic lights,” Des Vignes stated.

The Infrastructure Secretary said since the highway was first commissioned in 1984, no rehabilitation work had been done.

“This project was never a road resurfacing exercise and I really want to thank the public for their patience,” he said.

Over the next six weeks, guard rails will be installed along the rehabilitated stretch.
