Forty-five persons, including students from Scarborough Secondary School, UWI School of Continuing Studies and Harmon School of S.D.A. are now well-trained in Business Plan Writing, with the intervention of the Business Development Unit (BDU) of the Division of Community Development, Enterprise Development and Labour.

Following intense training, a competition was held on Tuesday 29th October, 2019.  Participants created their own business plans and pitched their ideas before a panel of three judges: Kieron McDougall, Advisor to the Secretary of Tourism, Culture and Transportation; Janet Parks of Parks International and Keron Duke of Tobago Media Concepts.

Winners will be announced and prizes distributed on Wednesday 6th November, 2019 as part of Community Development Week celebrations.
