Transforming Service Delivery

“We’re seeking to transform service delivery with respect to the health sector,” Secretary of the Division of Health, Wellness, and Family Development, Councillor Dr. Agatha Carrington said.

During the Post Executive Council Media Briefing on July 24, 2019 at the Victor E. Bruce Financial Complex, the Health Secretary said learning and growth remains a priority for the Division.

“Effective October 1st, our Enrolled Nursing Assistant Programme, which will be hosted in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Division of Health, Wellness, and Family Development, will commence. It will be the first one that will be hosted and conducted on this island.  The first cohort will start training right here in Tobago and we expect to have two other cohorts in the upcoming year,” she said.

Applications are invited for nationals of Trinidad and Tobago to participate in the training programme. Three GCE O’ levels are required including English Language.
