Teachers Get Development Training

Tobago teachers will benefit two training workshops on child-friendly schools (CFS), hosted by the Schools Supervision Unit of the Division of Education, Innovation and Energy.

The first workshop will take place over a three-day period (July 16-18).  It will focus on instructional effectiveness in the student-centered classroom, which will equip participants to effectively implement principles of CFS in the classroom.

The second professional development session, from July 19-20, will focus on classroom management in the student-centered classroom. It will highlight positive behaviour management in the classroom, and include strategy discussions to ensure classrooms are productive and engaging.

Both sessions will take place at the St. Joseph’s Convent Retreat and Holistic Development Centre.
