Spiritual Baptist Liberation Day was celebrated on Thursday (March 30, 2017). This year marked the 21st anniversary of celebrations with praise and worship services. The occasion was officially proclaimed a holiday in 1996. The holiday is celebrated in recognition of the repeal of the prohibition law that prevented the activities of the Spiritual Baptists.
