Session to tackle generation gap in management

The Project Management Institute Southern Caribbean Chapter (PMI SCC) will host an interactive technical session on the challenges of managing millennials in the workplace.

The event, which is scheduled for October 27 at the Auditorium of the Scarborough Library Facility from 1:30 p.m., is being held in collaboration with the Tobago House of Assembly

The session will be facilitated by Michael Charles, who has over forty years’ experience in the oil and gas industry both nationally and internationally.

The programme aims to answer several questions, including: “how does the baby boomer project manager motivate and lead a project team staffed mainly with Generation Y members?”

Registration is open to members of the public interested or involved in project management.

PMI SCC members will pay $150 to attend the session, and non-members $200, while it’s free to THA employees. Anyone seeking further information details can contact the PMI Secretariat at (868) 658-4200 Ext. 2179, or email jemma.ramjattan@petrotrin.com.
