Chief Secretary Expresses Condolences to the Family of Dr. Morgan Job

Chief Secretary Hon. Kelvin Charles expresses sincere condolences to the family of the late Dr. Morgan Job, who passed on May 06, 2018 after his battle with pancreatic cancer.

“Dr. Job was a true son of the soil. He was born and grew up in Tobago but later on in his life he made Trinidad his home. Not only Tobago but Trinidad and Tobago has lost one of the more intellectual minds and unique personalities that crossed our land,” says Mr. Charles.

Chief Secretary Charles adds that Dr. Job made his mark on the political and educational landscape of this country and noted that his contributions and his opinions will be remembered for a very long time. Mr. Charles says that Dr. Job’s fearless personality often landed him in controversy but at the same time allowed him to attract the respect and admiration of many.

Chief Secretary Charles further states, “While we may not have always agreed with some of Dr. Job’s positions, one thing we are sure about is that he stood for what he believed. We must also recognize Dr. Job for his selfless character, as he has ensured that his legacy will live on through his many writings. May his soul rest in peace.”

Mr. Charles encourages all to remember the Job family in prayer at this time and to offer help and support during their time of grief.
